Reading Programmes

Reading Programmes introduce new artworks and explorations of their associated themes, providing four weeks of curated commentaries on Bible passages in dialogue with works of art.

Reading Programmes are designed to be used from Monday to Friday.

Each week has the following format:

Monday: Bible Passage
Tuesday: Commentary 1
Wednesday: Commentary 2
Thursday: Commentary 3
Friday: Comparative Commentary

We also offer a Resource Pack for those who would like to work through these exhibitions as a group. To find out more, please email vcs@kcl.ac.uk


Ways of Living

Week 1

This Reading Programme is called 'Ways of Living'. It brings together Bible passages which explore some of life's most challenging issues including the use of wealth, the establishment of societal boundaries, the concept of sacrifice, and the search for meaning.

Monday: Cities of Refuge

Tuesday: Blood Feud

Wednesday: Complex Hospitality

Thursday: Rising Stars

Friday: Face-to-Face
